Sapele
It is used in the manufacture of furniture, joinery, veneer, luxury flooring, and boat building. It is also used in the construction of some musical instruments.
Iroko
When freshly cut, or when unexposed to light, the heartwood is a distinct yellow colour, but on exposure to light it quickly becomes golden-brown.The grain is usually interlocked and the texture is rather coarse.
